Irina Chelysheva spoke at the international conference on decentralization d10e in Vilnius.

d10e The Conference on Decentralization, dedicated to the fintech development, ICO, blockchain, sharing economy, was held on March 25-27, 2018 in Vilnius (Lithuania).

Experts in science and business gathered for a two-day summit to discuss the current trends and prospects for the development of blockchain technology, their impact on economics and the possibility of application. Within the conference, a pitch-contest of ICO projects was held.

VMP associate Irina Chelysheva spoke about the controversial aspects of regulation of the blockchain and the cryptocurrency market and presented innovations in the Belarusian legislation - the Decree "On the Development of the Digital Economy". The changes introduced by the Decree, among other things, include issues of legalization of activities based on the blockchain, opening up new opportunities for Belarusian companies for mining, ICO, crypto-exchange, smart contracts, etc. The Decree greenlights  the use of blockchain in Belarus, and many provisions are unique and several steps ahead even the most developed in the legal terms of jurisdiction.
