Liliya Vlasova spoke at the workshop held within the East Invest II program (the project \"Public-Private Dialogue\").
On March 20-23, 2017, within the program financed by the European Union - East Invest II - the Republican Union of Employers organized a series of events for business associations ("Public-Private Dialogue" project) with the participation of leading international experts. They included the Forum "International Technical Projects Assistance" and a seminar "Interest-based negotiations and mediation in public-private dialogue".
As part of the program, representatives of the small and medium-sized businesses learned about the existing funding opportunities, gained new skills for negotiation and mediation, and effective networking.
The workshop "Interest-based negotiations and mediation in public-private dialogue" was held with participation of the best Belarusian, Ukrainian and German experts - the mediation and advocacy trainer Folker Stotsner (Germany), the head and coach of the Ukrainian Mediation Center Galina Eremenko (Ukraine) and the senior partner at "Vlasova Mikhel and Partners", mediator Liliya Vlasova (Belarus). According to Lilia Vlasova, for many trainees it was unexpected that mediation has been developing in Belarus, the Law on Mediation has been adopted and it is actively used in settling both economic and corporate disputes and personal conflicts. The inclusion of a module on mediation and mediation techniques in the negotiation training programs confirms that this technology opens up new opportunities in establishing business contacts and in the optimal solution of the problem issues.
