Our Law firm was one of the founders of Global Compact in the Republic of Belarus. On December 15, 2006 we joined and became a full member of the United Nations Global Compact Initiative in Belarus.
We understand and fully support the ten principles of the Global Compact. These principles have become an integral part of our relations with customers, employees, citizens, environment and society at large.
Vlasova Mikhel & Partners collaborates with professional associations of lawyers active in Belarus and overseas. The firm sponsors Public association Lawyers' Union of the Republic of Belarus and Belarusian Public Association of Commercial Lawyers. Our lawyers are actively involved in the work of the associations. Lilia Vlasova, senior partner of the firm, is also the Chairperson of the Board of Belarusian Public Association of Commercial Lawyers and a member of Central Council of Lawyers' Union.
The firm is a permanent sponsor of the Republican Legal Moot Contest among Belarusian law students organized by the Law Faculty of the Belarusian State University.
Our firm acknowledges social responsibility and participates widely in various charitable activities. We provide permanent financial aid to the oldest charitable institution – Belarusian Fund of Charity and Health, which implements health charity projects focusing on orphan children and adaptation of disabled persons.
In 2011 company signed a partnership agreement with the Belarusian Fund SOS-Children's Village. Lilia Vlasova is a Chairperson of the Board of this organization. During the year our company participated in raising funds and collecting items of personal need for Children's Villages in Mogilev and Marina Gorka, and provided financial and legal support to Belarusian Fund SOS-Children's Village.
