Liliya Vlasova - Market Maker for Belarus: wins a special lifetime achievement award as having played the most influential and significant role in creating the country’s modern commercial legal market.

Liliya Vlasova, senior partner at Vlasova Mikhel & Partners, was awarded a Market Maker for Belarus, conceived of and designed by CEE Legal Matters, which deals with legal market research in Central and Eastern Europe.

Based on the poll of peers of the legal services market of CEE countries conducted by the magazine, the most famous and well-deserved specialists, mastodons and recognized leaders whose names are associated with the profession and who are role models to young lawyers, those who laid the foundation for creation and made the largest contribution to development of national legal markets of their countries.

In Belarus, this title was awarded to one of the most recognizable personalities in Belarusian legal business, a woman who became a real brand of the Belarusian legal market, the founder of the first law firm in Belarus and the pioneer of Belarusian mediation, senior partner of Vlasova, Mikhel and Partners Liliya Vlasova.

Among the winners of the award are our friends and partners Evgenia Sutkiene (TGS Baltic, Lithuania), Vasil Kisil (Vasil Kisil & Partners, Ukraine), Andrey Goltsblat (Goltsblat BLP, Russia), Alexander Turcan (Turcan Cazac, Moldova), Yuri Raidla (Ellex Raidla, Estonia).

The award ceremony was held within the framework of the General Counsels Summit of the CEE Countries, organized by the CEE Legal Matters on June 1-2, 2017 in Warsaw (Poland). On the eve of the event with the winners of the Prize, a round table was held dedicated to the history of creation, development, development of national legal markets and legal business and their further prospects.
