New Jurisdiction for re-domicilation

On 23 May 20025, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region announced that company re-domiciliation is open for application. From that date onwards, a company incorporated outside Hong Kong may apply to the Companies Registry for re-domiciliation to Hong Kong. 

Hong Kong is a special administrative region of China having its own legislation and system of government. It is an international trade and financial center; the Hong Kong Stock Exchange is one of the largest in Asia. English and Cantonese are official languages.

The advantage of this jurisdiction is also the preferential conditions provided by the agreement on the avoidance of double taxation. The agreement between the Republic of Belarus and Hong Kong has been in force since 2018 and allows reducing the tax rates on income of foreign organizations  to 5% on dividends, royalties and interest (to 0% on dividends and interest payable to the state and state institutions).
